3)目前假设上了岸，仍然可以看到那个灯光，爬的过程中能随时看到灯光，这么说：On arriving at the shore, the girl struggledup the cliff towards the light she saw. -是不是正确？用一般过去时即可？

If you want to say that something happened during the morning of the next day, you say that it happened the next morning, in the morning, next morning, or the following morning.

The ship was due to sail the following morning.
